This time we get to know Manu Reas, architect from Paris. Thank you so much dear Manu for your time and your inspiring answers! Enjoy!
1. Which situation or book changed your perspective on life?
Maya Angelou’s I know why the caged bird sings inspired me from a young age. Her sad but inspiring life story gave me motivation that everything can be possible for you, if you stay connected to yourself and love yourself.
2. Which 3 words are most powerful for you and why?
Freedom: Every human wants to be free. Freedom is a luxury that we should not take for granted.
Selflove: If you don’t love and respect yourself , you can’t love others and in return they won’t love you the way you deserve to be loved.
Authentic: Being 100% authentic and unapologetically myself is important to me. Also people around the world how live their life they way they want to, should not be judged for it.
3. What is your mental timeout?
My mental timeout is being creative. When I want to shut down the world for a while, I grab my pencil start creating, being painting, designing a dress or create a new interior for an apartment. Creativity is my alone time, creativity helps me to fed my soul and be the best version of me that I can be.
4. What does seek more than just success mean to you?
It means to me that success is not everything. To me this line means that if I am successful in whatever I want to be successful, I need to be fulfilled. I need to be mentally and physically ready to even enjoy the success and to get there.
